RESOLUTION NO. 6809
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY OF THE
CITY MANAGER
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has the poorer and duty to establish the salary of the City
Manager; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6710 established the salary
of the City Manager beginning January 1, 1968;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
1968, Resolution No. 6710 be rescinded and that the salary of
the City Manager beginning July 1, 1968 shall be $24,000 per
fiscal year, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly
installments as is most convenient in the ordinary course of
the preparation of the City's payroll.
ADOPTED this 25th day of June, 1968.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6809 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 25th day of June 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis, Marshall, Shelton, Rogers, Hirth Gruber
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: parsons
