RESOLUTION NO. 6835
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACK AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
COMBINED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, CORONA
DEL.MAR- AREA,.1968- &9, C-1123
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work consisting of the combined capital improvement projects,
Corona del Mar area, 1968 -69, in the City of Newport Beach, in
accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
bids were received on the 16th day of July, 1968, and publicly
opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Walker & Bates;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Walker
& Bates for the work in the amount of $215,863.00 be accepted
and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to
said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on be-
half of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be
directed to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
