RESOLUTION NO. 6852
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT (PETROLEUM CONSULTANT)
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach a certain contract for professional services between the
City of Newport Beach and M. Dudley Hughes in connection with oil interests,
operations and activities of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and conditions
of said agreement and found them to be reasonable and equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said contract for professional
services be approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 19 day of August , 1968.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6852 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 19 day of August 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Marshall, Parsons, Gruber, Hirth, McInnis, Rogers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Shelton
