RESOLUTION NO. 6855
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EDMCUTION OF.LANnD
RENTAL AGREEMENT.
VWREAS, City owns certain real property in the City of
Huntington Beach at the Southeast corner of Adams and Brookhurst
Streets; and
WHEREAS, Columbia Outdoor Advertising Company, 4100 W.
Commonwealth Avenue, Fullerton, California, has offered to execute
a land lease agreement of city owned property for maintaining
advertising signs whereby City will receive all sublease rental
monies directly from the sublessees for a period of one year; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interests of the
City to authorize the execution of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 19 day of August, 1568.
