RESOLUTION N0, 6877
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING FLANS„ SPECIFICATIONS,
COST ESTIMATE AND MAP FOR PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT NO. 51
WHEREAS, pursuant to instructions from the City Council
the Public Works Director has prepared plans, specifications, a
cost estimate, and an assessment district map for use in connect-
ion with proposed Assessment District No, 51, for the construction
of street and alley improvements in the West Newport area of the
City; and
WHEREAS, said plans and specifications are identified
as Drawing No, R- 5137 -S, consisting of 19 sheets numbered 1 to
199 inclusive; said cost estimate is set forth in the document
entitled "Preliminary Report Pursuant to the Improvement Act of
1911 (West Newport Street and Alley Improvements), Assessment
District No, 51 "9 prepared by Joseph To Devlin, Public Works
Director, and dated October 7, 1968; said assessment district
map is identified as follows: Map entitled "Assessment District
No. 51 in the City of Newport Beach, Orange County, California,
West Newport Street and Alley improvements", Drawing No, M °5111-X,
dated October 7, 1968; and
WHEREAS, the City Council expects to consider a Reso-
lution of Intention to order certain street improvements in said
proposed assessment district pursuant to the provisions of the
"Improvement Act of 1911 ", being Division 7 of the Streets and
• Highways Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, prior to consideration of said Resolution of
Intention it is the desire of the City Council to adopt the
plans, specifications, cost estimate and assessment district map
for said project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above described

map are approved and adopted.
ADOPTED this 7th day of October , 1968.
