RESOLUTION NO. 6 88 0
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING A PORTION
OF A CERTAIN STREET KNOWN AS IRVINE AVENUE WHICH
IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain map entitled "VACATION OF IRVINE AVENUE SOUTHERLY OF
23RD STREET ", being City of Newport Beach Public Works Department
Drawing No. R/W 5144 -L dated 10/1/68, showing a portion of Irvine
Avenue in the City of Newport Beach which the City is considering
vacating, closing up and abandoning, and which portion is more
particularly described as follows-
That portion of Lots 318 and 328 of Newport Heights
as shown on a map filed in Book 4, page 83 of
Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, which lies within Irvine
Avenue Extension as described in a deed to the County
of Orange, recorded .dune 19 1953 in Book 2512,
page 444 of Official Records of said County, bounded
on the East by the Westerly right of way line of
Irvine Avenue, 100.00 feet wide, as described in a
deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded May 16,
1968 in Book 8603, page 885 of said Official Records,
and bounded Southerly by a line that bears South
760 199 41" West from the Northerly terminus of that
certain course described as "N._ 13° 409 19" W. 110.24
feet" in Parcel 1 of said deed to the City of Newport
Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map is hereby
approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and directed
to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment of said
portion of said street.
ADOPTED this 7th day of October , 1968.
