RESOLUTION NO. 6 88 2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
LOCAL EMERGENCY CAUSED BY BEACH EROSION IN THE
WESTERN PART OF THE CITY HAS BEEN TERMINATED
WHEREAS, on August 19, 19689 the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 6858 whereby the Council determined that a local
emergency existed which constituted a state of limited peril due
to severe beach erosion in the western part of the City; and
WHEREAS, timely emergency measures were taken which
prevented serious property damage; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the emergency is over and that
the state of limited peril no longer exists;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
that the state of limited peril declared by the City Council by
Resolution No. 6858 adopted on August 19, 1968, is hereby
terminated.
