A RESOLUTION Or THC CITY COUPTCIL OF T12 CITY
OF 1,04PORT MACH i'.ECUESTING A PUBLIC STIMET
COIRTECTION TO THE ROUTE 73 (COROTTA DEL MR)
MEEHLY AT BISON AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Bison Avenue now appears on the City of
Newport Beach Master Street and Highway Plan as a local street;
and
WIMMEAS, recent traffic studies have established a
need to upgrade Bison Avenue; and
1,J1- M,ZAS1 the City of Newport Beach intends to revise
its Ilaster Street and I33ghway Plan to show Bison Avenue as a
major street;
VOT:T, TIMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the California Highway Commissionn
is hereby requested to approve a connection to the Route 73
(Corona Dal 14ar) Freeway at Bison Avenue.
