A TZ1SOLUTION CF THUT, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT 3ZACH AWMIDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
ANNUAL uT=T 137.3Ui2FACING AND 52CON3T RUCTION
PI3CG AT., 1 —69, PHASE. I, CONTRACT NO. 1186
WHEAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the annual street resurfacing a:rd reconstructiote
program for 10,68-69, Phase I, in the City of Newport Beach, in
accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
bids were received on the 13th day of November, 1968, and publicly
opened and declared; and
V41UUEAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is E. L. White Co., Inc. of Garden Grove;
NOW, T!MREFOIRE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Z. L.
White Co,, Inc. for the work in the amount of $69,760.00 be
accepted and that the contract for the construa --ion work be
awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FU7,71MR RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Cleeec
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contra_ ia_
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be c.i7ected
tc furnish an executed copy to the successful "bidder.
