A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT
DEED CONVEYING THE OLD LIFEGUARD HEADgUARTERS
PROPERTY TO THEODORE R. BARBEN II AND LEONE
ELIZABETH HILTON BARBEN
WHEREAS, on November 25, 1968, the City Council autho-
rized the City Manager to negotiate a sale of the old lifeguard
headquarters property to Theodore R. Barben II and Leone Elizabeth
Barben for a net consideration of $23,500, legally described as:
Lot 15 of the Subdivision of Block 227, Section
"A"..Newport Beach, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 4, page 36 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California;
and
WHEREAS, in order to consummate said sale it is necessaryl
to execute and deliver a grant deed conveying said property as
aforesaid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute
a grant deed on behalf of the City of Newport Beach conveying said
property to Theodore R. Barben II and Leone Elizabeth Barben as
hereinabove set forth.
ADOPTED this _5?7 day of December, 1968.
