2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE E2MCUTION OF A
3 CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH VTN
ORANGE COUNTY IN CONNECTION WITH IMPROVEMENT
4 OF JAMBOREE ROAD BETWEEN.PALISADES ROAD AND.

MACARTHUR BOULEVARD
6 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
7 of the City of Newport Beach a certain contract between the City of
8 Newport Beach and VTN Orange County for engineering services in
9 connection with a public works project which is generally described
10 as the improvement of Jamboree Road between Palisades Road and
11 MacArthur Boulevard; and
i2 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
13 conditions of said contract and found them to be fair and equitable,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said contract for
15 engineering services is approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
16 hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of
17 the City of Newport Beach.
