2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
3 AN ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM PROJECT
ADMINISTRATION AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF
4 ORANGE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT 01F JAMBOREE ROAD
FROM PALISADES ROAD TO MACARTHUR BOULEVARD

6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
7 by Resolution No. 6938, requested the County of Orange to allocate
8 funds to aid the City of Newport Beach during fiscal year 1968 -69
9 in the improvement of Jamboree Road from Palisades Road to
10 MacArthur Boulevard; and
11 WHEREAS, by said resolution the City agreed that its
12 share of the cost of improvements and rights of way would be
13 available for the fiscal year 1968 -69; and
14 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
15 of the City of Newport Beach a certain Arterial Highway Financing
16 Program Project Administration Agreement between the City of
17 Newport Beach and the County of Orange for the improvement of
18 Jamboree Road from Palisades Road to MacArthur Boulevard, which
19 said agreement has been reviewed and found to be fair and
20 equitable, and it is in the interest of the City to execute the
211 same;
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
23 the City of Newport Beach that said agreement be approved, and
24 the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute
25 the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
