2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
3 OF A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE ORANGE
COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT REDEFINING THE
4 FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF THE JAMBOREE ROAD BRIDGE AT THE SAN DIEGO
5 CREEK CHANNEL

7 WHEREAS, on November 1, 1963, Joint Powers Agreement
8 No. BA63F5 -107 was entered into by and between the Orange County
9 Flood Control District and the City of Newport Beach for the
10 construction of the Jamboree Road Bridge at the San Diego Creek
11 Channel; and
i2 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
13 of the City of Newport Beach a certain Supplemental Agreement to
14 Joint Powers Agreement No. BA63F5 °107 between the Orange County
15 Flood Control District and the City of Newport Beach for the
16 construction of the Jamboree Road Bridge at the San Diego Creek
17 Channel redefining the financial obligations for the said
18 construction, which said agreement has been reviewed and found to
19 be fair and equitable, and it is in the interest of the City to
20 execute the same;
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
22 the City of Newport Beach that said supplemental agreement be
23 approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and
24 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport
25 Beach.
