RESOLUTION NO. 6979
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A REVISED MAP SHOWING
THE LANDS BENEFITTED BY MASTER PLAN FACILITIES
PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY CONTAINED IN CHAPTER
14.33 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE
ENTITLED "WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CHARGES"
WHEREAS, Subdivision 2 of Section 14.33.030 of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that the City Council may
by resolution adopt maps showing the lands which will be bene-
fitted by the construction of the water system facilities shown
on the Water System Master Plan and which will be subject to
payment of the water capital improvement charges as provided in
Section 14.33.040 thereof; and
WHEREAS, on May 8, 1967, by Resolution No. 6960, the
map designated "Capital Improvement Water Ordinance, Lands
Benefitted by Master Plan Facilities ", Drawing No. W- 5046 -S, was
adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, said map has been revised to include Annexa-
tions 61 and 62, and an area of land north of Bison Street, known
as proposed Tract 6680, and has been considered by the City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the revised map designated
"Capital Improvement Water Ordinance, Lands Benefitted by Master
Plan Facilities ", Drawing No. W- 5046 -S, is hereby adopted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said revised map of the
Water System Master Plan shall replace the map heretofore adopted
by Resolution No. 6960.
ADOPTED this 12th day of May, 1969.
