A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE

WESTCLIFF DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS, IRVINE AVENUE

TO DOVER DRIVE, CONTRACT NO. 1185

accordance with the specifications, bid and this
5
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6
in connection with the Westcliff Drive improvements, Irvine Avenue
7
to Dover Drive, in accordance with the plans and specifications
8
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 20th day of May,
9
1969, and publicly opened and declared; and
10
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11
therefor is Sully - Miller Contracting Company;
12
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
13
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Sully - Miller Contracting
14
Company for the work in the amount of $209,189.00 be accepted and
15
that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
16
bidder;
17
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor
and City
Clerk
18
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract
in
19
accordance with the specifications, bid and this
award on
behalf
20
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City
Clerk be
directed
21
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
22
ADOPTED this 26th day of May, 1969.
