OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
BALBOA ISLAND CHANNEL SEWER FORCE MAIN

WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the Balboa Island Channel Sewer Force Main,
Contract No, 1223 , in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 16th day of ,Tune , 19 69 ,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is HEALY TIBBITP9CONSTRUCTION CO. of Long Beach ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of HEALY TIBBITTS
CONSTRUCTION CO. for the work in the amount of $28,000,00
be accepted, and that the contract for the described work be
awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of June , 1969 .
