RESOLUTION NO. 7043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING A
PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET KNOWN AS BAYSIDE
DRIVE WHICH IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED
UP AND ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport
Beach has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach a certain map entitled "BAYSIDE DRIVE VACATION," being
City of Newport Beach Public Works Department Drawing No.
R /W- 5158 -L, dated March 4, 1969, showing a portion of Bayside
Drive in the City of Newport Beach which the City is considering
vacating, closing up and abandoning, and which portion is more
particularly described as follows:
'That portion of Block 51 of Irvinets Subdivision
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, as shown on a map filed in Book 1,
page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as
follows:
That portion of Bayside Drive, formerly Palisades
Road, 40.00 feet wide, as described in a deed to the
County of Orange, recorded in Book 1037, page 269 of
Official Records of said County, bounded on the North-
west and Southwest by the Easterly right of way line of
Jamboree Road, 132.00 feet wide, as described in a deed
to the City of Newport Beach, recorded June 6 1962, in
Book 6135, page 155 of said Official Records.'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map is hereby
approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and directed
file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment of said
of said street.
ADOPTED this 28th day of July, 1969.
