A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
• OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
THE JETTY BULKHEAD CONSTRUCTION AT CHANNEL
ROAD -
Contract No, 1242
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with the jetty bulkhead construction at
Channel Road , in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 4th day of November , 19 69 ,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Connolly - Pacific Company ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Connolly - Pacific
Company for the work in the amount of $ 42,474.00
be accepted, and that the contract for the described work be
awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 10th day of November , 1969 .
