A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
. OF NEWPORT BEACH ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE
SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE
13TH DAY OF JANUARY, 19701, TO BE MADE BY THE
CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, a special municipal election will be held
and conducted in the City of Newport Beach on Tuesday, the
13th day of January, 1970, as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City desires the
canvass of said election to be made by the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 22932,5 of the
Elections Code of the State of California, the canvass of the
special municipal election to be held in the City of Newport
Beach on Tuesday, the 13th day of January, 1970, is hereby
ordered to be made by the City Clerk.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall, prior to the 20th day
of January, 1970, complete the canvass of the special municipal
election to be held in said City on the 13th day of January,
1970, and shall certify the results to the City Council on the
20th day of January, 1970.
ADOPTED this 15th day of December, 1969.
