A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON DANA ROAD, NORTHERLY SIDE, BETWEEN
ORION WAY AND SUPERIOR AVENUE
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.150 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that the City Council shall by resolution designate
streets or portions of streets on which the parking or standing
of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall designate in the
resolution the days of the week and the exact hours during which
such prohibition shall be in effect; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is
reasonable and in the public interest to prohibit parking of
vehicles from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., except Saturdays, Sundays
and holidays, on Dana Road, northerly side, between Orion Way and
Superior Avenue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that parking of vehicles shall be
prohibited from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., except Saturdays, Sundays
and holidays, on Dana Road, northerly side, between Orion Way and
Superior Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer is
authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said area
to indicate such parking prohibition.
