A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO COVENANTS,
CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS BEING IMPOSED
UPON TRACT NO. 6996
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach by The Irvine Company, a West
Virginia corporation, as owner, and the North Bluff Park Com-
munity Association, as its lessee and subdivider of Tract No. 69962
an amendment to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and
Restrictions recorded on October 13, 1969, in Book 9105, page 801,
Records of Orange County, California, whereby covenants, conditions
and restrictions are imposed upon said tract; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company as the..owner and the North
Bluff Park Community Association as the lessee of all lots in
said tract, propose to impose said Declaration of Covenants,
Conditions and Restrictions upon said tract for the benefit of all
the lots therein and for the benefit of the adjoining land owned
by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said amendment
to the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions,
and determined that said Declaration adequately provides for the
permanent upkeep, maintenance, and payment of taxes.on the common
area lots within said tract, as required by Section 19.32.040 of
the Newport Beach Municipal Code;
!� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
�X Amendment to Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, 1970.
