A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE ASSIGNMENT
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT
BEACH AND GOLDEN EAGLE REFINING COMPANY FOR
THE PURCHASE OF CRUDE OIL.TO.CARSON OIL
COMPANY
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of October, 1969, the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach approved a contract
between the City of Newport Beach and Golden Eagle Refining
Company, Inc., for the purchase of crude oily and
WHEREAS, Golden Eagle Refining Company, Inc., has
assigned its rights under said contract to the Carson Oil
Company by an assignment dated February 26, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it
would be in the best interests of the City to approve said
assignment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the assignment of said
contract is hereby approved.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of March, 1970.
