A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT.FOR
THE ANNUAL WATER MAIN- REPLACEMENT, CORONA
DEL MAR AREA AND IN -VISTA BAYA, 1969 °70,
CONTRACT NO. 124+7
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids
for work in connection with the annual water main replacement,
Corona Del Mar area and in Vista Baya, 1969 -70, in accordance
with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 21st day of April, 1970, and publicly opened
and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is Ace Pipeline Construction, Inc., Pomona,
California
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Ace Pipeline
Construction, Inc., for the work in the amount of $111,250.00 be
accepted, and that the contract for the described work be awarded
to said bidder
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract
in accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be
directed to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
