RESOLUTION NO. 7 180.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
THE IRVINE COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH THE
PORTION OF VISTA DEL ORO WITHIN TRACT 6996
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of Newport
Beach a certain grant deed dated April 6, 1970, wherein The Irvine
Company grants to the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with
the provisions of Section 19.32.050 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code requiring the conveyance of fee to public areas in connection
with planned residential developments, the portion of Vista Del Oro
within Tract 6996, in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, legally described as;
and
All that certain land within Tract No. 6996 designated
as VISTA DEL ORO within the blue colored border line as
shown on the map filed in Book 260, Pages 4 to 8 inclusive,
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California.
EXCEPT that portion of said Vista del Oro reserved as an
easement for street and highway purposes in the deed to
Newport Mesa Unified School District of Orange County,
California, recorded September 5, 1969 in Book 9070,
page 468 of Official Records of said Orange County.
TOGETHER WITH an easement for street and highway purposes,
30.00 feet in width, over that portion of Vista del Oro shown
on the map of Tract No. 6996 filed in Book 260, pages 4 to
8 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps, the Northeasterly line
of said - easement being described as follows:
Beginning at Point "A" as described in the deed to Newport
Mesa Unified School District of Orange County, California,
recorded September 5, 1969 in Book 9070, page 468 of Official
Records; thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line
of the land described in said deed to Point "B0° as described
in said deed;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
grant deed;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant deed for the portion of
Vista Del Oro within Tract 6996 is hereby accepted, and the City
Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach thereto a
certificate of acceptance and consent to its recording and to
cause said document to be recorded in the Office of the Orange County
Recorder.
ADOPTED this 25th day of May, 1970.
