A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
• CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH RESCINDING RESOLU-
TION NO. 681 WHICH ALLOWED CERTAIN ALLEY
PARKING
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 681 dated April 20,
1931, the parking of vehicles has been permitted on the
westerly side of that certain 14 -foot alley lying easterly
of and adjacent to Lot 10, Block 2 of the Newport Bay
Tract; and
WHEREAS, because of construction in recent
years and the related increased use of the alley by moving
vehicles, it is now desirable and in the public interest
to rescind Resolution No. 681, which would thereby bring
the above alley under the existing blanket provision
prohibiting parking in alleys;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach that Resolution
No. 681 is hereby rescinded.
