RESOLUTION NO.7 2 14
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING
BOARDING CHARGES -FOR IMPOUNDED FOWL AND
ANIMALS
WHEREAS, Section 7.16.030 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that daily charges shall be made
for boarding any bird, fowl, dog, cat or other animal
impounded under the provisions of the Code and that such
charge shall be established by the City Council by resolu-
tion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following
daily charges be established as boarding charges for im-
pounded birds, fowl, dogs, cats and other animals:
(1) $2.00 per day for all
twenty -five pounds or
(2) $2.50 per day for all
twenty -five to sixty
(3) $3.00 per day for all
over sixty pounds.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 6351 is
hereby repealed.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of June, 1970.
