A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FIXING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach has the power and duty to fix the salary of the
City Attorney and to designate the time to be devoted
to the duties of the office in the resolution fixing
the compensation; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7006 established the
salary of the City Attorney, beginning July 1, 1969,
and the time to be devoted to the duties of the office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective
July 1, 1970, Resolution No. 7006 be rescinded, and that
the salary of the City Attorney, beginning July 1, 1970,
shall be $ 25,000 per fiscal year for full -time
employment, payable in monthly, semi - monthly, or bi-
weekly installments as is most convenient in the ordinary
course of the preparation of the City's payroll.
ADOPTED this2 th day of June, 1970.
