• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT WITH JAMES D. AND MARGARET E.
WALLACE RELATING TO REMOVAL OF ENCROACHMENTS
INTO SEASHORE DRIVE, IN SETTLEMENT OF ORANGE
COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT CASE NO. 152669
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement between the
City of Newport Beach and James D. and Margaret E. Wallace in
connection with settlement of the pending lawsuit entitled
"Peoule of the State of California vs. James D. Wallace, et ux.,
et al.," Orange County Superior Court Case No. 152669, as
authorized by the City Council on March 23, 1970; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and
equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said settlement
agreement above described is approved, and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on
behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 13th day of July, 1970.
