A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
COVENANTS, CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS BEING.
IMPOSED UPON TRACT NO. 7148
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach by The Irvine Company, a West
Virginia corporation, as owner and subdivider, and The Bluffs,
• limited partnership, as lessee of a portion of Tract No. 7148,
• document entitled "Notice of Covenants, Conditions and
Restrictions (Tract No. 7148)," whereby certain covenants,
conditions and restrictions, as set forth in that Declaration of
Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions recorded on October 1, 1969,
in Book 9095, page 588 and in Book 9105, page 801 of Official
Records of Orange County, California, are imposed upon said
Tract No. 7148; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company is the owner of all lots,
and The Bluffs, a limited Partnership, is lessee of a portion of
said property, and propose to impose said Declaration of Covenants,
Conditions and Restrictions upon said tract for the benefit of
the adjoining land owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said document
and determined that it adequately provides for the permanent
upkeep, maintenance, and payment of taxes on the common area lots
within said tract, as required by Section 19.32.040 of the Newport
Beach Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the said Notice of
