A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0. 6534
WHICH ESTABLISHED CERTAIN PARKING REGULATIONS
ON A.PORTION.OF BALBOA BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6534 dated March 13, 1967,
one -hour parking between the period of 8:00 a.m. to 6 :00 p.m.
was established on the north side of Balboa Boulevard from
Island Avenue to 6th Street; and
WHEREAS, the owners of the businesses adjacent to
said area have requested that the curb be painted green to
indicate 30- minute parking between the hours of 7:00 a.m, and
6:00 p.m., as provided in Section 12.48.050 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code, and it has been determined that it is in the
best interests of the City to do so;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that Resolution No. 6534 is hereby
rescinded, and the Traffic Engineer be directed to have the
curb painted green to indicate 30- minute parking from 7:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. on the north side of Balboa Boulevard from Island
Avenue to 6th Street.
ADOPTED this 24th day of August, 1970.
