RESOLUTION N0. 7 266
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH.AWARDING A CONTRACT.FOR THE
FERNLEAF STORM DRAIN, PHASE II, ,CONTRACT
N0. 1287
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the Fernleaf Storm Drain, Phase II,
in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted, bids were received on the 18th day of August, 1970,
and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible
bidder therefor is BEBEK CORPORATION;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Bebek Corporation
designated Alternate D°B7. for the work in the amount of
$116,282 be accepted, and that the contract for the described
work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be
directed to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
