A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS AND GUTTERS ON THE
• WEST SIDE OF IRVINE AVENUE SOUTH OF 21ST STREET,
CONTRACT NO. 1309.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
in connection with CONSTRUCTION OF CURBS AND GUTTERS ON THE WEST
SIDE OF IRVINE AVENUE SOUTH OF 21ST STREET, in accordance with
the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were re-
ceived on the 3rd day of September, 1970, and publicly opened
and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Sully- Miller Contracting Company of Orange, California,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Sully- Miller Contracting
Company for the work in the amount of $ 9,279.00 be accepted, and
that the contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in ac-
cordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to
furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 14th day of September, 1970.
