RESOLUTION No. 7486
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING
THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY DEMAND
THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF A CERTAIN
MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT AND MAKING FINDINGS RE-
LATED THERETO
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
AND ORDER as follows:
SECTION 1. That the public interest and necessity demand
the acquisition and construction by said city of a certain municipal
improvement, to wit: a public facility to accommodate certain govern-
mental and administrative facilities and certain police and public
safety facilities and related facilities and property necessary and
convenient therefor.
That the estimated cost of said municipal improvement is
$6,935,000. That said municipal improvement requires an expenditure
greater than the amount allowed for it by the annual tax levy and is
necessary and convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers
of said city.
ADOPTED this 26th day of July 1971
