A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE IN CONNECTION WITH
SOIL TESTS AND MATERIAL CONTROL TESTS

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement between the
City of Newport Beach and the County of Orange extending the
agreement entered into between said City and County on July 12,
1970, for Soil Tests and Material Control Tests, for a five year
period, ending June 30, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and
equitable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement
extending the term of the original agreement to June 30, 1976,
for the services above described is approved, and the Mayor and
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the same
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 26th day of July, 1971.
