A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
ON PORTIONS OF BALBOA BOULEVARD AND ISLAND AVENUE
thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day for a period of
time longer than two hours upon such streets or portions thereof
as the City Council shall designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles
as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of
vehicles between the hours of 8:00 a.m, and 6:00 p.m., except on
Sundays and holidays, be limited to 30 minutes in the following
locations:
On Balboa Boulevard, north side, starting at
a point 114 feet east of Island Avenue and
extending to Island Avenue, and,
On Island Avenue, east side, from Balboa
Boulevard to East Bay Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer is
authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said area to
indicate such parking limitation.
ADOPTED this 9th day of August , 1971 .

the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that
when authorized signs

thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day for a period of
time longer than two hours upon such streets or portions thereof
as the City Council shall designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles
as hereinafter provided;
