RESOLUTION NO. 7563
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR ZONE
IV TRANSMISSION LINE, BIG CANYON RESERVOIR TO
SPY GLASS HILL ROAD, CONTRACT NO. 1352
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with Zone IV transmission line, Big Canyon
Reservoir to Spy Glass Hill Road, in accordance with the plans
and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on
the 11th day of November, 1971, and publicly opened and de-
clared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is AMICK CONSTRUCTION,, INC.;
NOW, THEREFORE+ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Amick Construction,
Inc. for the work in the amount of $54,848.00 be accepted, and
that the contract for the described work be awarded to said
bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in ac-
cordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of November , 1971 .
