A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON THE EAST SIDE OF BUCKINGHAM ROAD
BETWEEN WESTCLIFF DRIVE AND BEDFORD LANE
WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that when authorized signs are in place
giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park
any vehicle between the hours of 8 :00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any
day for a period of time longer than two hours upon such streets
or portions thereof as the City Council shall designate by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of
vehicles as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE*, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach that the parking of vehicles
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1 :00 p.m., except Saturdays,
Sundays and holidays, be limited to two (2) hours on the east
side of Buckingham Road between Westcliff Drive and Bedford
Lane;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Traffic Engineer
is hereby authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark
said area to indicate such parking limitation.
ADOPTED this 13th day of December, 1971.
