A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A REVISED WATER SYSTEM
MASTER PLAN PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY CONTAINED
• IN CHAPTER 14.33 OF THE NEWPORT BEACH MUNICIPAL
CODE ENTITLED "WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT CHARGES"
WHEREAS, subdivision 1 of Section 14.33.030 of the
Newport Beach Municipal Code provides that the City Council may
by resolution adopt a Water System Master Plan showing the pro-
jected water system facilities that will be needed in the undeve-
loped areas of the City to provide water service to areas which
the City expects to serve with water in the future which cannot
adequately be served from existing City water facilities; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 6559 dated May 8, 1967, the
map showing a Water System Master Plan prepared under the super-
vision of the Public Works Director was adopted by the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, said map has been revised to show additional
water system facilities, and said revised plan has been considered
by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the revised map designated "Capital
Improvement Water Ordinance, Water System Master Plan ", Drawing
No. W- 5047 -S, revised December 27, 1971, is hereby adopted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said revised map of the
Water System Master Plan shall replace the map heretofore adopted
by Resolution No. 6559.
ADOPTED this 27th day of December, 1971.
