RESOLUTION NO. 7621
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT
DEED FROM MARY L. WEBB IN CONNECTION WITH
BALBOA BOULEVARD WIDENING
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of Newport
Beach a certain grant deed wherein MARY L. WEBB, a widow, grants
to the City the following described real property:
and
That portion of Block 144, Canal Section, City of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 4 Page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, being also a portion of the land
conveyed to Allen R. Mitchell by deed recorded October 8,
1948 in Book 1712 Page 521, Official Records, lying south-
westerly of a line described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the southeasterly line of said
Block 144, 78.50 feet southwesterly of the most easterly
corner thereof; thence northwesterly along a line parallel
with.the southwesterly line of said Block 144 to a point
in the northerly line thereof.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM an undivided one -half interest in all
oil and mineral rights upon and under said land, without
rights of ingress or egress, as reserved in the deed from
Allen R. Mitchell to Richard P. Harvey and wife, recorded
August 1, 1950 in Book 2049 Page 298, Official Records, in
the Office of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City of accept said
grant deed;
NOW*, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said grant deed
is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed
to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and
consent to its recording and to record said document in the
County Recorder's office.
