A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
,• AND RANCHO SANTIAGO COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT
IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF FIRE TRAINING
FACILITIES IN THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement between the City
of Newport Beach and the Rancho Santiago Community College District
wherein said District agrees to hold the City harmless in connection
with said District's use of fire training facilities and participa-
tion in fire training programs in the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and
equitable;
NOW„ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said hold harmless agreement above
described is approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 14th day of February, 1972.
