A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
WALTER G. AND GENEVIEVE D. BECK CONVEYING
CERTAIN PROPERTY4, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT REGARDING
• MOVING THE EXISTING STRUCTURE THEREON.' IN CON-
NECTION WITH BALBOA BOULEVARD WIDENING
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of Newport
Beach a certain grant deed wherein WALTER G., and GENEVIEVE D. BECK,
husband and wife, grant to the City the following described real
property:
and
That portion of Lot 6 in Block 145 of Canal Section in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 4, page 98 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of-the County Recorder
of said County, described as follows;
Beginning at the southwest corner of said lot; thence
North 10 °39304" East 23.95 feet along the westerly line of
said lot to a line parallel with and northeasterly 50.00
feet from the southeasterly prolongation of the southwesterly
line of Lot 8 in said Block 145; thence South 37 °14357"
East 31.88 feet along said parallel line to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave northeasterly and having a radius
of 10.00 feet; thence southeasterly 6.99 feet along said
curve through a central angle of 40 °02141" to the southeast
corner of said Lot 6; thence North 79 °20356" West 30.00 feet
along the southerly line of said lot to the.point of
beginning;
WHEREAS, in connection with the City's acquisition of said
property, an agreement has been presented to the City Council, which
provides for the payment for the removal and remodeling of a certain
structure on said parcel; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the interests of the City to accept
said grant deed and to enter into said agreement;
NOWe. THEREFOREO BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that said grant deed is hereby accepted and
the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
• thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent to its recording,
and to record said document in the County Recorder's office;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said agreement above
described is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized to execute the same on behalf of the City.
