A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A
GRANT DEED CONVEYING PROPERTY LOCATED ON
. BALBOA BOULEVARD BETWEEN 32ND AND 33RD STREETS
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 7597 dated January 10, 1972,
the City Council of the City of Newport Beach declared certain
real property located between 32nd and 33rd Streets on Balboa
Boulevard, in the City of Newport Beach, legally described as
follows, to be surplus, authorized its sale and set out the
procedure for its sale:
Parcel 1 in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, as shown on a Parcel
Map recorded in Book 38, page 18 of Parcel Maps in
the office of the County Recorder of said County;
and
WHEREAS, on February 17, 1972, bids to purchase said
property were received and opened by the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, after holding a public hearing at which all
bids were considered, the City Council has determined that the
highest bid therefor has been submitted by ROBERT W. FITZPATRICK
and MERNA C. FITZPATRICK, in the amount of $18,700.00, and that
said sum is fair and acceptable;
NOW -,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a grant deed on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach, conveying said property to ROBERT W. FITZPATRICK and
MERNA C. FITZPATRICK, husband and wife, as joint tenants, in
accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in said
Resolution No. 7597.
ADOPTED this 28th day of February, 1972.
