A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING A
PORTION OF BACK BAY DRIVE NORTHWESTERLY OF
EASTBLUFF DRIVE WHICH IS PROPOSED TO BE
VACATED, CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain drawing entitled °VACATION OF A PORTION OF BACK BAY DRIVE
NORTHWEST OF EASTBLUFF DRIVE", being City of Newport Beach Drawing
No. R/W- 5239 -L, dated February 2, 1972, showing a portion of Back
Bay Drive in the City of Newport Beach which the City is
considering vacating, closing up and abandoning, and which portion
is more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Block 51 of Irvine's Subdivision in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map filed in Book 1, page 88 of
Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of the County
Recorder, described as follows:
That portion of that certain strip of land 60.00 feet
in width, described in Parcel 1 of the Road Easement to
the City of Newport Beach recorded January 28, 1964 in
Book 6901, page 207 of Official Records lying outside of
that certain land described in the Grant of Easement to
the City of Newport Beach recorded February 14, 1972, in
Book 10,000, page 891 of Official Records.
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said map is hereby approved and
adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and directed to file the
same in the proceedings for the abandonment of said portion of
said street.
ADOPTED this 13th day of March, 1972.
