A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF
VEHICLES ON CLUBHOUSE AVENUE AND ON SHORT
STREET, AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5328
0 WHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach
Municipal Code provides that when authorized signs are in'
place giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand,
or park any vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
of any day for periods of time longer than one hour, two hours,
or other hours upon such streets or portions thereof as the
City Council shall designate by resolution; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 5328 adopted October 31,
1960, the parking of vehicles between the hours of 8:00 a.m.
and 6:00 p.m, of any day was limited to two hours upon the
east and west sides of Clubhouse Avenue between The Rivo Alto
and The Channel; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the parking restric-
tions on Clubhouse Avenue, and to limit the parking of vehicles
on Short Street, as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE8, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach, as follows:
1. The parking of vehicles between the hours of
8:00 a.m, and 6:00 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, except
holidays, shall be limited to two (2) hours on Clubhouse Avenue,
between Short Street and the Rialto;
2, The parking of vehicles between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 6 :00 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, except
holidays, shall be limited to two (2) hours on Clubhouse Avenue

between Short Street and The- Rivo Alto and on Short Street
between Newport Boulevard and Clubhouse Avenue;
30 Resolution No. 5328 is hereby amended to delete
Clubhouse Avenue from the parking limitation established
therein.
ADOPTED this 10th day of April , 1972 .
