A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
THE IRVINE COMPANY IN CONNECTION WITH BUFFALO
• HILLS PARR, PHASE II
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of Newport
Beach a certain grant deed dated February 21, 1972, wherein The
Irvine Company grants to the City of Newport Beach the following
described real property in connection with Buffalo Hills Park,
Phase II:
and
The following described real property in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California:
PARCEL 1:
Parcel A, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 35, page 9
of Parcel Maps, Records of Orange County, California;
RESERVING UNTO GRANTOR, its successors and assigns, an
easement and right of way for walkway access purposes to
perform building maintenance over that portion Parcel A
described as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of Parcel "B ",
as shown on said Parcel Map; thence along the Southeasterly
and Northeasterly lines of said Parcel "B" the following
courses: North 45 023 300" East, 72.00 feet; thence North 44°
37000" West, 4.75 feet; thence North 45 023300" East, 55.16 feet;
thence North 44037300" West, 1.17 feet; thence South 45 °23300 "'
West, 2.00 feet; thence North 44 037200" West, 25.08 feet; thence
North 45 023200" East, 37.17 feet; thence South 44 137100" East,
2.00 feet; thence North 45 023100" East, ..2.00 feet; thence North
44 037300" West, 94.50 feet; thence North 42 °41231" East, 5.01
feet; thence leaving the Easterly line of said Parcel "B ",
South 44 °37100" East, 96.74 feet; thence South 45 023 000" West,
39.17 feet; thence South 44 037 900" East, 27.25 feet; thence
South 45 023300" West, 53.16 feet; thence South 44 137100" East,
4.75 feet; thence South 45 023100" West, 77.00 feet; thence North
44 °37100" West, 5.00 feet to the point of beginning;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
grant deed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
0 City of Newport Beach that said grant deed is hereby accepted, and
the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach

thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent to its recording
and to cause said document to be recorded in the Office of the
Orange County Recorder.
