RESOLUTION NO. `77 68 2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
BICYCLE PATHWAYS, JAMBOREE ROAD- EASTBLUFF
DRIVE TO COAST HIGHWAY AND DOVER DRIVE -
CLIFF DRIVE TO COAST HIGHWAY, CONTRACT NO.
1432
WHEREAS„ pursuant to the notice inviting bids for
work in connection with the construction of bicycle pathways,
Jamboree Road - Eastbluff Drive to Coast Highway and Dover Drive -
Cliff Drive to Coast Highway, in accordance with the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the
14th day of April , 1972 , and publicly opened and de-
clared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Sandoval Paving Co., Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the bid of Sandoval Paving Co.,
Inc., for the work in the amount of $12,200.00 be accepted, and
that the contract for the described work be awarded to said bidder;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to
furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 24th day of April , 1972 .
