RESOLUTION NO. 9 60 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM
LILY B. NISSEN IN CONNECTION WITH THE WIDENING
OF BALBOA BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, there has been delivered to the City of
Newport Beach a certain grant deed dated April 13, 1972, wherein
Lily B. Nissen grants to the City of Newport Beach the following
described real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, in connection with the widening of
Balboa Boulevard:
and,
That portion of Lot 8 in Block 145 of Canal Section
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 4, Page 98 of
Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder
of said County together with that portion of Section 29,
Township 6 South, Range 10 West of the San Bernardino
Meridian described as a whole as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of the land
described in the deed recorded December 24, 1963 in Book
6858, Page 158 of Official Records, records of said County;
thence North 10039104" East 33.69 feet along the Easterly
line of said land to a line parallel with and Northeasterly
50.00 feet from the Southwesterly line of said Lot 8;
thence North 37 °14157" West 53.90 feet along said parallel
line to the westerly line of said land; thence South
10 039'04" West 33.69 feet along said Westerly line to the
Southwest corner of said land; thence South 37 114157" East
53.90 feet to the point of beginning;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said grant deed;
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said grant deed is hereby accepted,
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach

thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent to its recording
and to cause said document to be recorded in the Orange County
Recorder's Office.
