A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF EAST NEWPORT
HEIGHTS STORM DRAIN FROM DOVER DRIVE TO IRVINE
AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has requested that
the Orange County Flood Control District construct the improvement
of East Newport Heights Storm Drain, Facility No. GOO P01, from
Dover Drive to Irvine Avenue, as a joint venture wherein the Flood
Control District would perform the construction and the City would
provide the rights -of -way; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District has
prepared plans and specifications for the above project, which
require approval by the City Council before a construction contract
can be awarded, pursuant to the provisions of the Flood Control
Act,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that it hereby approves the plans and
specifications, entitled "Plans and Special Provisions for the
Construction of that Portion of East Newport Heights Storm Drain
from Dover Drive to Irvine Avenue ", dated May 1972, prepared by
the Orange County Flood Control District.
ADOPTED this 10th day of July, 19-72.
