RESOLUTION NO. `ay 798
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 7722
TO ELIMINATE THE DIFFERENT PARKING FEE SCHEDULES
FOR BUSSES AT THE CORONA DEL MAR STATE AND CITY
BEACH PARK LOT
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 7652 parking fees were
established for the parking lots maintained and operated by the
City at the following locations:
and
1. Corona del Mar State and City Beach Park;
2. Balboa Peninsula, southerly of Ocean Front at Palm
and Washington Streets, commonly referred to as the
Balboa Parking Lot; and
3. 26th Street between Newport and Balboa Boulevards,
commonly referred to as the 26th Street Parking Lot;
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 7722 provided for an increase in
the parking fees for the lot at Corona del Mar State and City Beach
Park; and
WHEREAS, it has been deemed desirable and in the public
interest to eliminate the separate parking fee schedule for busses
at the Corona del Mar State and City Beach Park Lot;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that Subparagraph a. of Paragraph 2. of said
Resolution No. 7652, as amended by Resolution No. 7722, is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"a. Corona del Mar State and City Beach Park:
(1) $1.50 per day on weekdays, for all vehicles.
(2) $2.00 per day on Saturdays, Sundays and
holidays, for all vehicles."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other provisions of
oa Resolution No. 7652 shall remain in full force and effect.
