A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF A QUITCLAIM DEED TO THE IRVINE COMPANY,
RELEASING THE CITY'S INTEREST IN A PORTION
OF A WATER LINE EASEMENT IN RESUBDIVISION NO.317
WHEREAS, a portion of a certain water line easement in
Resubdivision No. 317 is no longer required by reason of the re-
location of the facility intended to be served by said easement;
and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City has no
present or prospective need for said portion of the water line
easement, legally described as:
"That portion of Block 93 of Irvine's Subdivision
as per map recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous
Record Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
County described as follows:
Parcel 2 as described in the easement to the City
of Newport Beach recorded March 3, 1972 in Book 10026,
page 180 of Official Records in the office of the County
Recorder of said County.
EXCEPT that portion lying within that certain land
described in the easement to the City of Newport Beach
recorded June 15, 1972 in Book 10174, page 845 of said
Official Records."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute a
quitclaim deed releasing to The Irvine Company the City's
interest in the above- described portion of a water line easement.
ADOPTED this 11th day of September , 1972.
